WAM Student Showcase

Call for Proposals: Writing Across Media Fall 2019 Student Work Showcase

Since the inception of Writing Across Media, students in the course have consistently created really interesting multimodal work. As a student, are you interested in sharing any of the digital and/or material work that you have created for WAM?

The Center for Writing Studies is organizing an inaugural showcase of WAM student work for the Fall 2019 semester, tentatively scheduled for Friday, Dec. 13th from ~12.00p-1.30p (location TBD). As students in the course, consider sharing what you’ve created with peers and our campus community while also seeing what folks in other WAM courses have produced. You can choose to submit work that you have already created in WAM this semester or to propose a piece that you are still in the process of composing.

To propose your work for inclusion in the showcase, you’ll need to fill out a short Google form here that asks you to briefly describe your work and to identify any specific tech or set-up needs.

After you submit your proposal, WAM instructors and/or course administrators will be in touch with further information on how to submit your work for this event. If you have any questions, please talk to me or e-mail the course administrators directly at kovanen2@illinois.edu or lpmiddl2@illinois.edu.
