Project Proposal Rough Drafts (DUE Saturday 11/23 by 11:59pm to Drive):
- 500 – 750 words, every individual needs one (but you can include collaboratively written language if you’re in a group)
- Explanation of your topic and how it engages with the ideas and themes of WAM, and how is it building toward the course learning outcomes
- Description of what you hope to create
- How you will incorporate all the modes of communication (visual, linguistic, aural, spatial, gestural, multimodal)
- What sources and resources you will need for this project (texts, tools, programs, etc.): What three platforms will you incorporate?
- A timeline/plan for completing the project
- A group work contract that lists responsibilities, communication tools, etc.
One-on-one Conferences:
- Make sure you have signed up for a meeting time and that you have that meeting time written down so that you will remember it and BE THERE.
- All meetings will be held in my office, English Building room 220: Room 220 is on the second floor of the English Building. Enter from Wright Street, take elevator to 2nd floor, turn right from elevator, turn left at the end of the hall, then turn right at the end of the hall. Room 220 is the first office to your right. It’s (almost) always open.
- In this meeting we will:
- Review your grade, including everything except the final project.
- Discuss your progress on your final project.
- You should bring:
- Your work in progress so I can see what you’ve done on your final project so far.
